The Internet is advancing at a faster pace than perhaps any other technology we know of. WAG1 (Web And Graphic Design) at Thinnox is for creative individuals who want to learn how to build a website from scratch using industry standard, cutting edge tools. The course has two major components. Web design deals mainly with the creation of a website using a variety of tools and resources. The Graphic aspect of the course deals with the creation of assets required for the website including, but not limited to, logos, brand assets and digital art.
Details
In this course you define a mission statement, explore what works and what does not work in the context of web design. You plan your site using web planning tools; you learn to collect and create content that is effective for the medium. Using Adobe Creative Suite Web Application tools – Dreamweaver you create web pages, graphics, animations and the look and feel of your website. You design layout, create text, images, links, tables, frames, forms, rollovers, special effects and learn to embed audio and video into your website. In addition you learn to optimize your site and manage traffic in to your site.
Using Adobe Creative Suite Web Application tools – Photoshop you learn to modify and enhance images, apply filters and special effects suitable to your project. You learn the theory behind colors in various media; you learn to work with layers & create dynamic text and shapes; you are introduced to the fundamentals of layout and logo design.
